Lynch (one) [24 Dec 2009|12:38am] davidlynch [ryanachronism] This post is a bit of a random observation. I was watching Lynch (one) for the second time, and I'm curious; there's a scene in the first 20-30 minutes in which David Lynch is photographing outdoors, then unexpectedly there is the sound of a gunshot and woman screaming. Lynch and the entire crew don't seem to notice, which makes me wonder : a) Are shootings are so common in LA that people don't even pay attention? (i don't mean to suggest the old LA / crime cliche... but weird, right?) or b) Was it a sound effect mixed in to the documentary later? Sure enough if I heard someone getting shot I'd atleast look around to see what was up. 1 comment|post comment
